2024: Wild Woman returns
This spring I had the incredible pleasure and honor to connect with Stephanie Serra of the Nantucket New Moon Festival. When I encountered this fest, and read their mission statement that “… celebrates the unfettered and unfiltered spirit of women. The Wild Woman is maternal, she is capable of fighting and she is deeply connected to the Earth. She encourages us to go beyond boundaries and to express one’s true self…” my heart was pounding with joy to find a festival that felt so close to my heart and my own work.
I am grateful to New Moon for screening my 2018 film Wild Woman once more, at the beautiful Sconset Casino on Saturday May 25th!
The screening was sold out- a great sign of a strong fest and a wonderful community. To top all of this, Wild Woman received an award for their “Most Empowering Animated Film” !
